BEAN (DWARF FRENCH) -
Plants produce plenty of distinctively flavoured, string less pods over a long period if picked regularly. Sow March April under glass, or in succession outdoors from late April until mid-July. Most varieties freeze successfully, but those particularly suited are marked*. (12 weeks maturity). Research suggests that it is unwise to eat Beans raw.
Source of vitamin A. Delicious when no thicker than a pencil and can be sliced or cooked whole.
